1. Service Scope
QiApp provides a digital wellness and lifestyle guidance service.
• The service may include rhythm-based prompts, educational content, expert reference content, community features, wellness knowledge content, recommendations, and other related features
• Some features may be free, paid, subscription-based, region-limited, or available only at certain times
• We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features from time to time for business, legal, compliance, technical, or safety reasons
2. Eligibility, Accounts, and Security
To use the service, you must meet and follow these requirements:
• The service is intended for adults aged 18 and older
• You must provide accurate, lawful, and non-misleading account information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activities under your account
• You must promptly notify us if you become aware of unauthorized access or a security issue
3. Acceptable Use
You may not use the service in ways that:
• Violate applicable laws or regulations, impersonate others, or mislead other users
• Post, upload, or distribute unlawful, infringing, harassing, hateful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful content
• Share medical misinformation, dangerous advice, spam, or unauthorized commercial promotions
• Scrape, attack, reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the service, systems, or other users
4. Health Disclaimer
QiApp provides general wellness and lifestyle information only.
• The service is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease
• The service does not replace licensed medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Users should seek qualified professional care for any medical concerns, symptoms, or emergencies
5. Paid Features and Subscriptions
Some QiApp features, content, goods, or expert-related services may require payment or subscription.
• Pricing, billing terms, and purchase conditions will be shown before purchase
• Purchases made through the App Store, Google Play, or another third-party platform are also subject to that platform's terms and billing rules
• If subscriptions are offered on an auto-renewing basis, they may renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date
6. Community and User Content
If you submit content through community or other interactive features, the following rules apply:
• You retain rights in content you lawfully own
• You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, use, display, review, distribute, and improve the service using that content
• You are responsible for ensuring your content is lawful, accurate, and does not violate the rights of others
• We may remove or restrict content that appears to violate these Terms, applicable law, or platform safety requirements
7. Intellectual Property
Except for user content you lawfully own, all rights in QiApp and its software, designs, trademarks, text, images, and other materials belong to us or our licensors.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, publicly display, or otherwise exploit the service or its content without prior written permission
• This does not limit uses expressly allowed by law
8. Third-Party Services
The service may integrate or link to third-party services, payment providers, login providers, or external sites.
• Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies
• We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services, products, or content
9. Service Availability and Changes
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
• We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose
• We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue part or all of the service at any time
10. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the service at any time and may request account or data deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.
• We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access or accounts if you violate these Terms, create risk, appear to violate law, or if needed to protect users, the service, or the public
• Terms relating to intellectual property, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination to the extent applicable
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the relevant service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) CAD $100
• You remain responsible for decisions you make based on general wellness or lifestyle information provided through the service
• Where applicable law does not allow certain disclaimers or limitations, they apply only to the extent permitted by law
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
• Disputes relating to these Terms or the service will be handled by courts or lawful dispute resolution processes with proper jurisdiction, subject to applicable law
13. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
• If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and may provide additional notice where appropriate
• Your continued use of the service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms
